in june, the studio converged at the brickhouse in the country
for a spontaneous wedding celebration! flowers were gathered
on site or from the dahlia farm, the dress was fashioned from yards
of white cotton voile and a lilac japanese obi was tied
to finish it off. |
flowers were placed in the bride's hair, she wore a family
necklace and a lei that was created on the spot, and her
portrait was taken in the garden. for the ceremony, the bride and
groom were encircled by their friends and family, they
cut the homemade hummingbird cake, and then everyone settled into a potluck
dinner at a long communal table nestled in the trees. |
music was provided by guests, r.wood dishes held the food, and everyone enjoyed the day. let this be one of many
