DAHLIAS
they are gearing up for a big show- the garden is full of
different unfurling beauties... a purple and white, a deep
magenta, pink with yellow centers. as one worker put it, they
feel like they are in a "cult-of-the-dahlia", becasue they
are so so beautiful! good thing they will be around 'til first
frost. we have some that the vickers gave us- re-visit their
dahlia farm
in our archive. rebecca recently cut a bouquet for her son
zack on the eve of his first sojourn to college in new york
state.
