CLIMBING ROSES a sure sign of things to come...these old fashioned deep red roses clamber around everything here: fences, houses, up trees. their intense shade is a delight. other varieties are in full swing now, showing the range of the regal rose. here, a spray climbs up a split-rail fence just off of our downtown in a neighbor's front yard for all who pass by to enjoy. the weathered grey is a perfect backdrop for for the rose tint. plant some ramblers in your garden... |
