WHERE INSPIRATION COMES FROM
driving into town from the country to the studio,
rebecca passes a lot of wild persimmon trees.
this past fall, she drew some sketches of persimmons and dahlias
that were used for programs for rinne's sister lucy's wedding.
in turn, this motif became the signature for rebecca's set of
collectible plates at this year's holiday sale, proving that
inspiration is out there, even on a morning commute
(although rebecca's commute is more scenic than most...).
we have recently found inspiration on a mountain drive,
at our friend nancy's house, at another artist's studio,
and in our backyard garden.
